“Scully, what are you wearing?”

Friendly reminder that Megyn Kelly was sexually harassed by Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly and STILL this is how she, and women on the right, treat rape victims.
Megyn Kelly: "...this is probably a first for her. She's probably thrilled to be so admired because she clearly didn't grow up the incredibly beautiful one."
Megyn Kelly on Cornell's Jane Doe: "I'm just going to be honest, she's not the most attractive gal. She's extremely beefy in her arms and her legs."

JD before: Nothing wrong here, there’s no law against it, what Trump is doing is perfectly fine and legality isn’t even an issue

JD after: Trump is following the law, praise him for what a good law-follower he is
Trump caved, but not before he forced JD Vance to walk the plank.😂

That the Senate Republican Leadership Fund pulled out of North Carolina to devote money to KANSAS lets you know how bad the MAGA Party knows the midterms will be. Kansas hasn’t elected a Democratic senator since 1932. There’s no reason they need to even be campaigning there.

Here’s some actual waste, fraud, and abuse the DOGE Children never even considered. It’s a storied practice for members of Congress to insist the military buy things the military doesn’t want, because those unnecessary things are manufactured in the members’ home districts.
The Army announced last year that it had enough of a model of armored vehicle and that any more deliveries would be “excess.” But Congress found a way to keep funding alive for the vehicle, and executives at the company found a way to flood key members of Congress with donations. buff.ly/nbAEUVa

Remember the halcyon days of the second Trump term when a team of 20-year-olds with no government experience, but convinced of their own superior intelligence, led by someone with an even more pathological Dunning-Kruger problem, tried to dismantle the federal government?

I know this isn’t useful but it’s weird how “the president should be coherent” was a Very Important Thing just a few years ago and then suddenly wasn’t.
Trump: "I take an aspirin a day. I don't know if it works but psychologically I need it. It thins the hell out of your blood I guess ... They want me to go down to the 80. I take the 386. I don't know what the hell it is. It's a monster. They said, 'Sir, you don't need that!'"

This is more of Trump’s mob-boss tactics. He will say, “I’m not telling people to vote for anyone in particular.” But implied in this statement is “if you vote for Republican candidates in the midterms, I will reward you with money.”

Reading the Time magazine interview with Trump, we are again faced with the Trump Trinity: three different explanations for why Trump consistently and repeatedly says things that are simply not true.

He’s been saying this for 11 years. Obviously if the cultists still believe this BS they are just hopelessly lost to an alternate reality.

The double-down-no-matter-what tactic, taught to Trump by his mentor—the disgraced and disbarred mob lawyer Roy Cohn—really only works for Trump.

Both Benny Johnson and Sean Hannity have now deleted their tweets claiming that Eric Schmitt put Jack Smith "on the spot" and set him up for perjury charges with his faceplant.

At 1:41, you can see it's a poster depicting Fani Willis. Schmitt clearly thought this was a big gotcha moment that was going to make headlines, so his staff pre-prepared this poster as the icing on the cake. Having realized his gotcha moment backfired spectacularly, he just scrapped the poster.
extremely weird shit during the Jack Smith hearing -- Sen. Eric Schmitt's team briefly displays a poster board that Schmitt claims contains evidence Smith committed perjury, but then Schmitt's team takes it down before anybody can read it and refuses to show Smith what it says

Like clockwork, the "migrant caravan" only becomes an issue in October of an election year.
In October 2018, Fox hosts began warning viewers that a migrant caravan was moving through Central America with plans to “storm our border” — and urged Trump to make that “caravan” a central issue for that year’s midterm elections.

Based on current advertising, it seems the MAGA Party's message for the midterms is all Democrats are, categorically, woke communists. Not sure how that makes diesel cheaper.

Less than 40 days from Election Day, and polls are showing the MAGA Party is having to compete in districts Trump won by double digits. Americans are roundly unhappy with the governing party and even MAGAs are indifferent about supporting them.
