I know my BSK friends in Eur/UK and points further south are still enjoying late summerish weather. Here in this part of N. Am. autumn is well underway. For me it's a sweet spot, summery daytime warmth still, but beautiful fall scenery around and crisp nighttime air.

Missed my connection flight at LAX last night, had to overnight and catch the 6am flt this morning. Went to the hotel's shop to get something grab'n'go.

A lovely last walk early this morning in Rome. Sun rising over Castel Sant'Angelo. Trains canceled between Roma Termini and Fiumicino, so a last minute panic to get one of the fewer and fewer taxis as the mobs realize there's no more apt train service.
