🫧Today is #GAAD. I planned to write a celebratory roundup of Ambre's accessibility work this year. Then I opened the repo and the search came back almost empty.

A short, uncomfortable, useful post about the gap between caring and auditing 🕵️‍♀️

Before image of two screenshots. One showing a feed of episodes in chronological order and a separate section "continue" for started, but not finished, episodes. The other screenshot shows episodes in the detail view of a podcast show. After image of the same two views in the before image. All episodes have a background color based of the podcast show cover art, bringing a variety of colors. Compared to the light grey background in the before. The cover art for episodes in "Continue" are much bigger and easier to identify. In the podcast detail view, each episode show their specific cover art, instead of the podcast show like before.

Can't believe THIS is why I had to spend a couple of hours debugging a visionOS widget. Did I miss a video? 🥲

Could only get .systemExtraLargePortrait to show using .systemExtraLarge in the switch.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend the evening at @github.com Headquarters Co-organized by @figma.com , making it a perfect hangout for designers and developers alike.

Oh, and there was some swag as well hehe

On a table with a vase with tulips are some swag placed: Blue hat with orange embroidery print, github pin in black and yellow, sciencey github sticker and figma pin in multiple colors on one side and shiny on the other. Github cat cutout art installation with deep sea creatures like jellyfish in the background Photo of panelists discussing “How do you define Human in-the-loop, and why is it crucial in AI driven product development?” On the screen behind them.
