I hope everyone enjoyed the dinner at iConference 2026 last night. My only disappointment is I forgot to change into my heels for photos!! Darn!

Thanks for making it happen, @edinburghnapier.bsky.social conference and catering team!

I hope everyone is enjoying the 2026 iconference so far! The conference dinner is at the same venue this evening and the events team is already getting ready!!

Today's the day!

I hope you're ready to contribute to critical conversations around information literacies, authenticity, and the use of digital technologies in shaping a more enlightened and inclusive digital society.

Welcome to the iConference at @edinburghnapier.bsky.social

The on-site iConference programme starts tomorrow. Everything is ready, so today, we rest. Well, I'm going geocaching whilst Tiger picks colours for my next project. 🙂

Safe travels to everyone making their way to Edinburgh and @edinburghnapier.bsky.social.

See you tomorrow!

Tiger is looking forward to the on-site iConference programme starting in just two days. (And he's not even going!)

Today, I'm getting materials ready. Tomorrow, I'll "rest". And Sunday, I'll be at @edinburghnapier.bsky.social to welcome and register delegates.

See you soon!

Tiger's iConference countdown continues. He's super excited and has even asked me to download the conference app. (Links in reply)

All of us at @edinburghnapier.bsky.social are looking forward to seeing you soon.

Work is full-on at the moment, which means the bus journey from my office to Castle Ryan (home) is spent working.

Which, whilst not as relaxing as my normal practice of daydreaming, really makes the journey go quickly. I nearly missed my stop! 😲

#iConf26 is nearly here. Let's go!

The on-site sessions for iConference start in just four days. I know, because Tiger has been keeping a countdown for me. (More importantly, he's counting down to post-conference when I'll get to sleep again!)

I hope to see you all @edinburghnapier.bsky.social very soon.

Today's Information and Knowledge Organisation lecture is on information retrieval.

Which means my students will get to enjoy boolean memes and my own amazing jokes about pineapple and pizza.

Learning is fun(ny)!

Yesterday, I gave the welcome address as co-chair of the 2026 iConference, hosted by @edinburghnapier.bsky.social

I've not found my bsky groove yet, so I'm going to use the conference to fix that.

5 days until the on-site programme starts! I hope to see you there.

Today's Knowledge Management class @edinburghnapier.bsky.social saw students creating simple KM models. I think the lesson was a success!

It's the first day of teaching for the year, with Knowledge Management. We're starting off with a fun story-telling ice breaker and chocolates. Yes, it's going to be a great year at @edinburghnapier.bsky.social!

Today is the last Knowledge Management practical of the year, which means it's the Knowledge Quiz!

Trophies for the winning team and wooden spoons for the rest. But here's hoping they have all increased their knowledge this trimester!
