In the Grande Parade of La Fête de Paris dressed as Méphistophélès (from Gounod's "Faust") with the group from 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘀 representing the inauguration of the Opéra Garnier in 1875.
Based on a set of patterns from Margo Anderson, adapted to evoke typical 19th century designs...

We celebrated the bicentenary of Empress Eugénie with a ball in the Salle Wagram. A group of Americans had come over for a week of lessons, and it was a joy to meet them (and sometimes translate for them). Had I not made videos and photos, I would swear it was all a dream.
