JOULE is part of my Project AD-01 series. A continuation of my exploration into the fusion of organic form and engineered life. I sculpt each piece entirely by hand, starting from clay before molding, casting, painting, and assembling every element myself. The process is deliberately analog: A slow, human rhythm inside a world obsessed with automation. The name JOULE honors James Prescott Joule, the physicist who discovered the relationship between electricity and heat. It’s a meditation on conversion and transmission: how raw power becomes purpose. That same concept pulses through the sculpture: energy not just as illumination, but as transformation. In this edition, I focused on the idea of transmission. The constant flow between intent and execution through technology. The sculptural form channels energy pathways that glow in amber and copper tones, their warmth radiating outward like heat escaping from within. Those colors aren’t just aesthetic; they represent that duality. Each JOULE piece is limited, signed, and numbered. It’s a reminder that even in a fully automated world, there’s still something deeply human about building with your hands.
