Christmas lunch at the "old folks" club yesterday. In addition to the copious amount of wines on offer, many of the old farmers bring their homemade digestifs along. It would be rude to refuse! Got another similar lunch today - not sure my liver will make it to Christmas!

Our staircase is finally finished. Such a pleasure not to be climbing a ladder anymore. There is definitely light at the end of this renovation tunnel 🤩

Woken up at 3.30am by a picture falling off the wall. We only put it ip yesterday afternoon. Now wide awake and can't get back to sleep 😵‍💫😳

So many projects on the go, not least renovating a whole house. Side projects, like painting this dresser, are a little light relief

After 18 months, we finally have a staircase. Risers and handrail still be installed but it's such a novelty not to come backwards down a ladder anymore. 😃 #renovatinginFrance
