Don’t Give Up
A mixed media artwork (needle felted wool, acrylic, gouache, handmade kozo, copper clad FR4 panel, artists urine) on a 9x12 inch piece of upholstery foam. A quilt-like pattern of needle felted squares frame a paper wrapped copper panel. Arms and a head with a round snout and long floppy ears emerge from the quilt to hug the panel. The panel has a drawing of a sad creature uncomfortably curled up tightly in the panel too small for its own size. The creature looks up at the quilt that is embracing it. Made for Anthros

Gnawed Upon
acrylic and urine on paper wrapped copper clad panel. The specter of an anthropomorphic dog with a scarred body in a fog of turquoise, blues, and greens. Its paw looks as if it is pressing on the panel surface like it was a window. Its head tilted, eyes drooping, glistening with with dried urine. It calls out silently for something it can't reach, maybe hope, maybe relief.
