The first time I saw Rural Alberta it was as an opener or in between songs band for the Clementines, which features two members from the band. This CD was burned, so new I smudged the hand written label. It’s a pretty catchy EP.

If you are trapped in this hell, the seemingly best thing you can do is backup and restore your phone, from your Mac. It will clear out whatever caches of data iOS refuses to give up. Let’s see how this all lasts.

What a clown. Where exactly does he think all the delivery guys on bikes are going to go? (Where does Ford think they'll go for that matter?)
I saw Ben Mulroney post an anti-bike-lane sentiment a few months ago shared by many “the lanes are only used by delivery”. It’s an incredible statement.

This morning — following two investigations into Toronto mayoral candidate Brad Bradford's use of an app that rewards supporters for posting AI-generated comments and sharing contacts — Bradford called our reporting "inaccurate."

We're now releasing the recording that proves our reporting.

Ottawa set a target of 155,000 new international student arrivals for 2026.

However, according to Universities Canada, only 28,200 had arrived as of July 31, or about 18 per cent of the annual target.

This is what I would like to see the mayors talking about. Certainly won't hear a peep from Bradford, but Chow also quiet despite this being a year with some pretty crazy police corruption cases.
SUI says officer who gave a cyclist a beating won't be charged. Little surprise there from SIU, but we will all pay for the civil $ + this cop will continue to be paid.

Videos of the arrest were shared widely in June, leading to some claims of “excessive use of force.”

One of the best things about Mississauga's evolution into a real city continues to be resisted. People will not stay in the car-based bedroom (community) forever if there are city aspirations, which Mississauga has. Something will have to give.

It's wild that commentary on this shooting IMMEDIATELY went to anti-immigrant, Islamophobic bigotry.
