It’s crazy when artists get their own lyrics wrong
Apparently Usher said it’s “…it’s 7 o clock on the dot, I’m in my drop top, who’s in the streets” ..not “cruising the streets”

I refuse, but whatever.
I mean yall thought T Pain was saying, “everybody hands go up and they stay there” so YES it’s plausible

I look around at my fellow grownups and think "These mfs are the elders I was supposed to respect?!?"
Random, but do y’all ever think “I’m really an adult. That’s wild”

The Benghazi investigation was the longest and most expensive investigation in the history of the US congress.

It took more time and resources than the 9/11 commission, the Pearl harbor commission, and the Warren commission looking into the JFK assassination.

Four people died in Benghazi.
Trump says 18 Americans dying fighting Iran is “small potatoes”

Not at all...

Letting someone have the last word doesn't mean I've lost the argument.

It just means I've lost interest.
Quick question: How important is it, to you, to have the last word (in an argument)?

The value of Graham Platner is that right up until all his red flags came toppling down upon him is that he is the most naked example of the amount of grace & credibility Simply Being White grants you. Compared to Abdul El-Sayed, who has to re-earn every ounce of credibility he has on a daily basis.

macabre = “muh-KAHB”

Worcestershire = “WOOSS-ter-sheer”

omnipotent = “ahm-NI-puh-tunt”

reticent = “RET-uh-sunt”

epitome = “ih-PIT-uh-mee”

myriad = "MEER-ee-ud"

Never make fun of someone if they mispronounce a word.

It means they learned it by reading.

Recall, if you will, that the CBO estimated the One Big Beautiful Bill would add $4.1 trillion to the debt... and Republicans could barely keep from creaming themselves as they voted for it.

Fiscal restraint?? Where?
www.cbo.gov/publication/...
CASONE: We surpassed $40 trillion in debt. In any way, shape, or form, is fiscal restraint going to be on the agenda for you and your colleagues?

TOM EMMER: Uh, it has been. That will be priority number one when we get through the midterms.

The lefties gotta understand that democracy isn't a thing where you win one election and every problem that has been developing for decades is magically fixed.

Democracy is something you've gotta engage in your entire life. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
A non-zero number of folks on Bluesky, for understandable reasons, have put way too much hope in the next Democratic administration in the US, and are brewing themselves up for another existential breakdown in like 2029 or 2030.

Funny how there's never a leaked Republican group chat where they're all just fiscally conservative, hard working family values voters who care about the Constitution.

Nope, they're always just straight-up Nazis.
This is like the young republican group chat at FIU full of Cuban kids and 30yr old politicans.

These mail-in voting restrictions are absolutely NOT going to be applied evenly.

Rural ballots will be delivered if they are likely to swing toward Trump.
AFAIK, lot of mail-in voting happens in rural areas due to the distance to a "near-by" polling place, and that most rural voters vote republican. If the changes trump wants disproportionately affect rural voters, doesn't that increase the risk of potentially blocking his own voters from voting?

Wild how we spent decades thinking nuclear war or an asteroid would bring the end of humanity.

Who would have guessed it would actually be misinformation on the internet.
This is insane to me, and it should be insane to anyone reading this.

This is all so unnecessary.

Trump's foreign policy & domestic policy share the same brain-dead philosophy:

Power comes only from strong-arming others to get your way — even if you could reach the same the outcome by outwitting them or seeking agreement

Being aggressive or violent is strong. Being savvy or shrewd is weak.
Trump foreign policy is the opposite of chess. Chess requires you to anticipate moves from your opponent, think through them, and make plans to counter and take advantage of them. He doesn’t do that. He plows forward and assumes his opponent will be incapable of resistance.
