I can’t think of a single topic that has spawned a greater number of laughable posts than AI. Its very existence has driven a lot of people quite berserk.

This is what's floating around the local MAGA cult. They are in so deep and are so fucked in the head, they're barely sentient anymore.

The year is 2027. The American dream no longer centers home ownership. Young couples are saving up to invest in RTX-5090 GPUs for $30,000 apiece. The US is at war with China and Iran. A tank of gas costs $500, groceries are $1000/week.

Many of you will be surprised to know the Continental Army existed in 1753
How dare the National Museum of the American Indian refer to George Washington with a name that he was given by the Iroquois in 1753, a name which he himself used in his correspondence!

So glad to see Fox News taking a stand against the politicization of history. s/

This is essentially how he wants to run the country and the world: make it entirely his or put an end to it. And of course making anything his also always means putting an end to it.

Speaking for myself, I find the idea that allowing Ken Paxton of all people to become a US Senator is somehow in the best interest of trans people (or immigrants or Muslims or the country as a whole) to be self-destructive and risks further alienating trans people from our allies
Okay, don’t go find and harass this guy, but: it’s kind of alarming to see this specific kind of madness spreading, about a vital race that is a coin-flip. Important to squelch this kind of thinking with extreme prejudice. Talarico must win.

Something I just really need every kind of activist across every issue to understand: The cause never benefits from losing to a Republican. It never has, it never will.

Based on some conversations I was reading through yesterday but thankfully not participating in, it seems like a strategy many prominent voices on here have embraced regarding Talarico is to leave his line blank under the assumption that an "undercount" will reflect measurable lack of enthusiasm...

The idiot snot-gurgling dems who would rather lose with their precious "principles" intact rather than winning by any means necessary need to be boiled in their own shit.

Yet another American election comes down to a choice between "absolutely depraved monster who will destroy countless lives" and "person who is on the right side even if they don't get it right all the time."

Amazingly, we keep failing these tests. Maybe we'll get it right this time.
I’m a Texan trans kid who almost died because of Ken Paxton. The world should know what he’s done.

This was very difficult for me to write, but given what's at stake, I cannot bear to stay silent about what I went through at Paxton's hands.

He must not be rewarded for what he's done to trans kids.

Regardless of Talarico’s recent statements on trans people, Paxton cannot be rewarded for the extreme suffering he’s inflicted on me and tens of thousands of Texan trans kids.

Five years ago, on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, I wrote about how things could have gone if we'd reacted differently. We could have emerged better and stronger, with a newfound sense of empathy.

Instead, we vowed to Never Forget and here we are today: forever stuck in the anger stage of grief

To this day, the one duplex it printed still isn’t finished. A $590,000 deposit for the printer was forfeited.
