Not surprised the PS5 mod, emulation and homebrew scene has exploded in recent months. Once Sony made enough terrible decisions, it was only a matter of time before they incensed the right people.

After reading Terada and Nishino's interview I can safely say the headlines about Sega wanting ports are very interpretive. As far as they said it's the dev team who wants ports, not necessarily Sega as a whole, and they're trying hard to get it made. But I guess that doesn't make for good headlines
There's a lot of articles going around regarding the Sakura Wars Famitsu special, but before sharing anything I want to read it for myself! Me and my friend just bought a digital copy, and we hope to translate it (or at least parts of it) together soon, instead of a vague summary!

we nearly lost VitaDB and Rinnegatamante's involvement to the scene altogether because of these guys.
Which is significant because that guy is pretty much carrying the community on his back.

I've had a lot of flack from commenters in my Dreamcast/PS1 Fan Translations videos for tearing into certain patches, but in the long run the anti-AI side will win out.
