Here’s a thing about LLM code generation that people haven’t mentioned much, even in theory:
The thought that open source projects might either close their source or make the bar for contribution significantly higher due to the onslaught of vibe-coded submissions.

Also, before anyone understandably asks, Grimdoomer's bona fides are legit and include major contributions to other scenes over the years, including the PS2 as well. And while it's unfortunate the code will remain closed source, it's hard to argue with the reasoning. I'd likely do the same here.

Misleading. The emails that were compromised were that of people with accounts on DoubleCounter or Doogle. DISCORD WAS NOT HACKED. NO DATA from Discord was leaked. If you did not have an account with DoubleCounter or Doogle, you are not affected.

If we had a federal government that wasn't firmly up the ass of Big AI, they'd make it a crime for an AI to put people in mortal danger by sending them into wilderness areas with fictional instructions.
