🌱 Plant of the Week🌱 is the Papaver somniferum (opium poppy).
They are currently in bloom around the Stable Yard which is also filled with hollyhocks and lanceleaf tickseed. Its looking stunning.

Purple crabapple Malus x purpura has been blossoming in our 6 quarters.
They are a good pollinator for early flowering apples and originated at a Babier Nursery in Orleans, before 1900. This is one of the earliest crabs to flower.

On Tuesday our new Exhibition 'Elements of Landscape' opened.
The exhibition features the work of artist John Hitchens from the 1960s to today.
John visited us to see his work in situ and sign a couple of his books for the gift shop!
