Until Democrats stop rewarding people who have been in the party for many years because "it's their turn" and not moving on from them because their ideas are out of step and stale, they will never truly be accepted as leaders. Progressive ideas move forward, they don't sit still. Push the envelope.

As the battle of the White House vs the media rages on there are a couple of points. 1. It's not HIS house, it's OURS. 2. It's not a privilege, it the f'ing Constitution. Bonus point 3. The Epstein files have STILL not been fully released.

Not sure if anyone is thinking or talking about this yet. With so much focus on the midterms and (hopefully) a Blue wave, I cast a wary eye at the current Congress loaded with lame ducks passing some outrageous bills to placate trumpery and damage the country further. Stay on them till they're gone!

Building the billionaires ballroom at the White House and making it a military bunker goes against protocol for protecting the president. DC would be ground zero in a major event, and presumed to be uninhabitable. Protocol would be to remove the president to provide leadership and governance.

Next congress can set their calendar to seve the people better. No running away while a shutdown is in progress. No recess, no adjournment during government shutdowns partial or full. You don't get to go home till the job is done.
