excited about the new 33 1/3 book about Dick Diver's Calendar Days! I was lucky to cross paths with them in that era. Great moment, 4 songwriters/singers briefly combining forces. Listening back now it feels like an earnest theater production that stumbles into genius. FFO Cannanes, Go-Betweens etc

RIP David Fair, we need more of his (and Jad’s) spirit in music, inspired amateurism, art-obsessed dorks with refined tastes, playing and singing out of tune, no hope of being a star or looking cool on insta. David Fair was a visionary musician. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get it.
