Great to be in Glasgow today, as we talk through the negotiated offer to end pay discrimination in the city.

When we win equal pay, it will be because the men and women of Glasgow stood together.

Solidarity to GMB members in Leeds and Swansea in their fights for pay justice.

Labour was elected on a promise to fix a broken Britain.

Workers and communities are crying out for a better future.

We need action to put our industries, communities, and our country back where we belong.

When are politicians, both at a Scottish and UK level, going to end the madness of watching skilled workers be sacked while awarding contracts abroad?

When will we see the thousands of renewables jobs we’ve been promised being created in UK yards?

Too many shipbuilding contracts have gone abroad, while UK shipyards have lay empty.

With a reliable drumbeat of work, we can create thousands more UK apprenticeships.

Labour promised reindustrialisation. Time to deliver.

Delighted to catch up with Morag, our wonderful GMB rep at British Airways in Glasgow, celebrating her retirement.

Thank you so much for your service to our union.

Also great to see Bruce from Heathrow - welcome to Paisley!

Building data centres could create huge opportunities for unionised construction jobs.

Scotland has lots of water and wind farms that we have to pay to turn off.

Building new nuclear to help power data centres would be great for jobs and the economy.

This is a failure of both the Scottish and UK Governments.

Our shipyards should be full of work, including work supporting the renewables industry.

Instead, we have empty yards, broken promises and tugs for Faslane being built abroad.

Muhammad was just doing his job as a delivery worker in Glasgow when he suffered a disgusting racist attack from fascist thugs.

I pay tribute to his bravery in speaking up and supporting his colleagues.

GMB’s coastguard membership is growing every day, and it was great to spend time with some of them at Durham Miners’ Gala.

Coastguard Rescue Officers perform a vital role keeping the public safe.

They deserve full union recognition and pay justice.

We don’t need political idealism in energy policy - we need hard-nosed pragmatism.

For energy security and jobs, it’s time to get on with Jackdaw and Rosebank.

Our ceramic companies are the envy of the world.

So why is the industry struggling to keep its head above water?

Britain's obsession with waging war on gas.

The SSSNB is an opportunity to finally recognise the value of support staff in our schools.

That means a stronger voice, investment in training and development, and pay that reflects the job they do and the contribution they make.

So proud of our members in the NHS and ambulance service who go above and beyond for patients every single day.

The government must deliver the decent pay offer that they deserve.

Thank you to our members on East Midlands Ambulance Service for the wonderful job they do.

We’re campaigning over rotas and resources in the service - well done to a great Shop Stewards team.

Good to be in Govan today meeting our GMB shop stewards and conveyor at BAE.

If the government is serious about “warfighting readiness”, we need to create thousands more apprenticeships and bring communities like Govan back to life.

Great to spend time with the inspirational leaders behind our historic equal pay victory in Birmingham.

Through their solidarity, and their strike, they won pay justice.

Their struggle is inspiring women up and down the country to fight for the equal pay they deserve.

Pay justice is coming to Kirklees. ✊

Great to spend time talking to our members in schools and care homes across Kirklees about the fight for equal pay.

Thank you to our fantastic shop stewards who are making a huge difference for our members.
✊Massive thanks to @gmbgarysmith.bsky.social for powering through a whistle‑stop tour of workplaces and reps’ meetings across our region, and for helping to fire up our equal pay campaign launch at Kirklees Council!🖤🧡 #MakeWorkBetter

For generations, Sellafield has been a world leader in the nuclear industry and played a vital role in our national security.

Great to meet with our shop steward team to talk about our ambitions for the future of the Sellafield site and the community of West Cumbria.

Enough is enough - this is utterly unacceptable.

This work should be bringing apprenticeships and hope to communities in the UK.

Great to be amongst old comrades and friends at @gmbnwi.org.uk’s gas branch meeting on Saturday.

Gas will continue to be at the centre of our energy mix for decades to come.

Thank you to GMB members in gas whose work powers our industries and keeps all of us safe and warm.
