ive been trying to get myself tested psychologically for anything i have, (was originally autism testing), and i have just learned that my deductable for testing is ~$700.

i don't think i need to explain how this one is a bad idea but for the people in the back: Outting trans kids to their parents without their consent is a shitty idea because they could be abused for it. I got lucky with mine (when my school outted me), that doesn't mean it'll be the same for others.
BREAKING: The House of Representatives just voted to require teachers to forcibly out transgender youth against their will.
Censoring "gender ideology" does nothing to advance the basic promise that every child deserves the same opportunity to thrive, and that includes transgender students.

One of the things that bothers me about the TADC situation is the lesson this kinda stuff teaches.
The lesson I was always taught as a kid was, "if you do something wrong, you should say you're sorry and then try to do better."
I think that's a pretty reasonable approach.
