That’s exactly why I wasn’t mad about how Chris Sale dominated what angered me is that it didn’t have to be Sale. Bartolo Colon could have unretired and genuinely believe he could go 7 innings of 1 run ball on 2 hits against this offense. Pathetic
I don't even hate Tyler Mahle. I feel nothing towards him. He's just another nameless, forgettable league-average pitcher that this Phillies offense turns into an All-Star for a day. It's not him; it's them.

There’s just no excuse. This offense deserves to be ashamed of itself.
They’re all just leaving their pitchers with requirement to be perfect. I wouldn’t be sad if half this lineup is gutted and gone in 2028 when baseball is back. Harper has really failed this team this season.

We all saw what we saw last night with the Eagles. They’re just not a very good team at this point. Sometimes you need to get kicked in the teeth to be able to adjust.
I think what’s most alarming at this point is how teams easily adjust to us in the second half and we go nowhere with our drives

I have to give the Eagles some advice.
Just about every throw Keenum will make will be a short to intermediate throw… so I’d jam if you can. Maybe if you read the @jimmykempski.bsky.social article earlier last week you’d know that.
