a lot of my frustration with the LLM onslaught has in fact been disappointment at realizing how many people do just want to pretend (at work, creatively, interpersonally)
This is partly an LLM problem and partly an organizational problem. The LLM makes life much, much easier for everyone who wants to just pretend, and much, much harder for everyone who doesn’t.
