We called her Mamou (meaning mother) when she gave birth unexpectedly very soon after rescue. Mother’s Day seems an appropriate time to celebrate the life she lost on 13th March 2026.

Some of the radio interviews from the early years of the Go Vegan World campaign (2015 and 2016) are still available. We hope that our campaign has improved over the years so that non-vegan members of the public have access to information about animal rights.

Amy is the tiniest hen in her group but she has the biggest, bossiest personality. She makes sure she has first access to food, the nicest dust bath, and she sleeps in the rafters watching the other hens on their perch below.

Some of our ads spotted in London last week encouraging people to remember that the animals we use are not objects or resources, they are feeling beings with minds and rights and they are not ours to use.
