Two things can be true at the same time

1. George Washington was the first president of the USA

2. 2 + 2 = 4

TWO THINGS CAN BE TRUE AT THE SAME TIME!

Mike Rogers is a corporate sellout who moves back to Michigan every few years to run for office to take another swing at the revolving door of corporate politics.

Watch this Nebraska Senate ad trust me, nothing in the world will prepare you for it.
This is the most honest Pete Ricketts ad we’ve seen.

A nice triple smash burger at a fast food place nearby used to cost me $9.87.

After my Republican-controlled county surprisingly voted on the ballot to raise sales tax to fund a mental health board to provide better mental health services to the county, it now costs me $9.91.

Yeah worth it.

Officially I'm like 5 foot 11 7/12, which *barely* rounds up to 6 feet tall.

It counts, I just rounded using normal rounding rules!

I just walked by somebody and overheard him say "You have to go past first, so go past first" and it sounded like the most hardcore thing ever, go past first place, until I realized he was talking about First Street and was giving directions.

I neglected to mention it on Bluesky but I have friends who can vouch that I predicted Trump pushing New Mexico to New America so I have more predictions of terrible events.

Puerto Rico? Puerto America.
District of Columbia? District of America.
American Samoa? American America.

Modern statistics was founded in Guinness Brewery, which tried to be competitive by being on top of science; one of their scientists came up with what we know as the "t-test" to help with quality control on beer.
Tell me a fun fact.

Dolly Parton was never a billionaire because she gave away her money to good causes too quickly to ever reach billionaire status

I literally dropped my phone when I read about Dolly Parton's death

My honeymoon was in Gatlinburg with Dollyworld as the main feature of our trip, I really appreciated Dolly for her generosity and for her being a clever businesswoman who wisely used her business skills to help communities

Enjoy the musical if you want, I'll still love Duck Tales and Scrooge McDuck no matter how far to the left I go, but Hamilton was a right-winger who started a right-wing political party and it does irritate me that liberals claimed him as their own.

I've always been fascinated by how creative politics can get when using their names, initials, and in this case, possible nicknames, for election reasons.

What if the first version of this cup is the actual holy grail?
I haven't seen anyone on here fawn over the Carlisle 5216 cup for a while and I think perhaps that's where we have gone astray as a community

I've had to call 911 as a child because my mom passed out in the heat in Las Vegas.

AI, especially if it's trained on "incidents", won't be able to pick up the nuances needed to calm down a panicked child who might not have their words all together.
AI is now answering 911 calls in New Orleans.

The AI handles incoming calls and is supposed to analyze and prioritize the calls so that if multiple people phone in about the same incident, the chatbot will handle the repetitive calls about the same incident.

New Orleans will use AI to answer 911 calls instead of a human
New Orleans is using AI to answer 911 calls instead of human dispatchers. What does this mean for crime and emergency response?

I'm trying to cook more and had good success

Overcooked the steak into leather, but it was still juicy and also tasty because of my cast iron skillet, and I only set off the fire alarm once!

One of my favorite bits is when a friend is having massive stomach issues and I tell them "I hate your guts"

At that moment they, too, hate their guts!

Rogers is a very fitting name for Mike. Because that's his answer every time a corporation or Donald Trump tells him to do something.

"Roger!"

It's fun taking a growler to my local restaurant/bar because occasionally there's a guest that has no idea what I put on the counter and I get to explain this bar lets you take four pints of an alcoholic ale to take home and they get excited.

One of those things I'd never do when I was single but now I can never go without now that my wife showed me a better future is adding those scent boosting crystals to the laundry when washing them, they really are so good

Today Max Miller denied the claims; he said they have to be false because would his wife have cooked dinner for him six days later if they were true

As a victim of child abuse, this was my reaction to that information

Haven't been at this fast food place for a while and the usual very good cashier that typically worked the hours I went there got a promotion, good for him, good for him
