I was browsing through some of my interactive story chapters from Choose your own change and found this. How would you like this beach-themed transformation tale to continue?
Hunter Reynolds wasn’t scared of the Inanimate Virus. He always cracked jokes about the people who locked themselves at home worrying about it. “I prefer catching the virus while living life to the fullest before staying in lockdown for the rest of my days.” He’d say. The man was young, tall and handsome. He had been going to the gym, and he had worked way too much on his beach bod to not show it off this summer. He still hadn’t seen anyone transform into an inanimate object in front of his eyes so the virus thing could be a hoax for all he knew. And even if it were real, what about it? According to the latest reports on the news you’d stop being a living being the very moment you caught it, so it wasn’t like he was going to be aware of anything after the fact, right? So Hunter decided to go to the beach, ready to ‘hunt’ for a new love conquest with the help of his muscles and clean shaven handsome face. Right after he arrived he changed into a bright red swimsuit that barely covered his assets and went for a refreshing swim. Of course, the real reason he had gone on a swim in the first place was to come out from the ocean looking like a stud and then take his sweet time drying off his beach bod. When Hunter came out from the water, looking like a very hot model with wet droplets running down his black chest hair on his pectorals, he was so distracted thinking about how hot he must have looked that he stepped on a small yet fancily decorated sandcastle, completely demolishing it like his leg was a giant bulldozer. He didn’t care about it a single bit, it had been probably made by some kid with a bucket in like less than a minute, no big loss. Hunter went to his bag and took off his towel. He took a quick glance around, looking for anyone hot enough for him. He saw a fat guy eating a sandwich and throwing some leftovers at a seagull on his left and an old guy trying his best to light a barbecue on his right. Nothing too promising. But then he saw a group of fit people jogging by the ocean, and wondered if he should do the same. There was also a kitesurfer wearing a neoprene suit, looking disappointed that the wind hadn’t been as strong as it had been forecasted. Hunter didn’t know anything about kitesurfing or surfing in general like, at all, but the dude’s suit was so tight it left little to the imagination. Hunter finished drying off his muscular body but began to feel a bit wobbly just then. He ultimately decided to just lie down for a bit until the weird feeling passed. He laid his towel on the sand and was about to sit down on it when his perspective suddenly changed without warning and everything felt way different to him. “What happened?” Hunter thought. But what should he be asking himself is what had happened *to him*. What Hunter didn’t suspect was that the sandcastle he had brutally demolished just moments before used to be a man named John until he inadvertently caught the Inanimate Virus... Our workplace culture has improved a lot since our shitty CEO was demoted to chair! It's so satisfying to see that bastard finally getting the treatment he deserves with his naked hairy form exposed for everyone to laugh at and his pathetic creaking sounds pleading for mercy are downright comical!
