I like salamanders, fish and art. I love my kids and grandkids. And I loathe fascists. Public schools, Pell Grants and work-study enabled me to live a comfortable life. I want the same for everyone. Antiques Roadshow groupie.
Sigh. My dad used to say that half of all people are below average.

100 companies are responsible for 71% of global emissions. They told YOU to recycle better while they polluted more. Don't fall for it. Hold systems accountable. #ClimateCrisis

The thing I’ll never understand- why aren’t employers calling for healthcare? They are getting soaked on premiums too.
Or do they just pass it along to employees so they don’t pay higher taxes?
In my lifetime we’ve gone from fully paid ( by the companies) to a 75/25 split. With a $2000 deductible.

Get out and see live music. “Cause every little things gonna be alright “
Dance and recharge.

Rep. Becca Balint’s #CupOfJoe nailed it: “Underbabied” isn’t real, but lacking resources to start a family is. Instead of cutting costs, this admin shames women with a useless website and attacks reproductive rights.

Shakespeare and Company does amazing work with high schools in the area, can't imagine their inclusion in juvenile system is anything other than great
There is a program in Massachusetts where juvenile offenders are sentenced to performing Shakespeare

1) This is corp capture playbook. They take systems you cannot live without, then convert them into assets they own.

Water. Power. Housing. Streets. Schools.

Once it is an “asset class,” you stop being a citizen and start being a revenue stream.

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.
