Toying with the idea of doing my cargo ship blueprints Fact Files style.

I didn't really think I would like it as I had my heart set on the Franz Joseph style, but now I think I might go for a kind of scrapbook aesthetic. Like a fan has collected all of the different blueprints over the decades.
My Antares-type light redesign blueprint rendered as a Star Trek Fact Files page.

I'm thinking about moving here from Twitter despite some strong opinions from both sides but this is just convincing me to.

Skylab with Columbia space shuttle commission by @aebdigital.bsky.social

It’s quite challenging but there’re a lot fun things to play with this work. Thanks for the request! 🙏

it’s gonna be hard to pick my favorite space images of 2024 when we got such amazing ones like these
Clouds of gas and dust with many stars. The clouds form a flat, blue background toward the bottom, and become thicker and smokier toward the top. Stars on one side light the nebula. A thick arc of gas and dust reaches around from the bottom-right corner of the image toward the top-left corner. It begins as a dark and obscuring cloud at bottom right and gradually becomes brightly lit by many stars at the upper left. Other large, foreground stars lie between the nebula and the viewer. Image credit: ESA/Hubble & NASA, J. Tan (Chalmers University & University of Virginia), R. Fedriani Three bright stars with diffraction spikes shine near the center-right of the image, illuminating nearby clouds that glow in pale blue. The clouds darken at the edges of the image, and are dotted with smaller stars, some also with diffraction spikes. Image credit: NASA, ESA, G. Duchene (Universite de Grenoble I); Image Processing: Gladys Kober (NASA/Catholic University of America) A star cluster is shown inside a large nebula of many-coloured gas and dust. The material forms dark ridges and peaks of gas and dust surrounding the cluster, lit on the inner side, while layers of diffuse, translucent clouds blanket over them. Around and within the gas, a huge number of distant galaxies can be seen, some quite large, as well as a few stars nearer to us which are very large and bright. Image credit: ESA/Webb, NASA & CSA, P. Zeidler, E. Sabbi, A. Nota, M. Zamani (ESA/Webb) A young star-forming region is filled with wispy orange, red, and blue layers of gas and dust. The upper left corner of the image is filled with mostly orange dust, and within that orange dust, there are several small red plumes of gas that extend from the top left to the bottom right, at the same angle. The center of the image is filled with mostly blue gas. At the center, there is one particularly bright star, that has an hourglass shadow above and below it. To the right of that is what looks a vertical eye-shaped crevice with a bright star at the center. The gas to the right of the crevice is a darker orange. Small points of light are sprinkled across the field, brightest sources in the field have extensive eight-pointed diffraction spikes that are characteristic of the Webb Telescope. Image credit: NASA, ESA, CSA, K. Pontoppidan (NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory) and J. Green (Space Telescope Science Institute)

I colored this. It's from an Anime coloring book I got for my birthday a couple months ago. I still have to color the background though, but that'll be later
