Neat thing about living in a small coastal town with massive temperature gradients is that four web sites can simultaneously report current temp is 78, 82, 83, and 93 F.

On-site thermometer says 89. NOAA wins.

I assigned random gender/ethnicity labels to scientific abstracts from the literature and then asked Claude to do a thematic analysis. Claude identified a clinical versus computational split for female/male authors and a DEI focus for Black/URM authors. All in completely random data.

As a Serious Scientist I was preparing to scoff at such frippery, but I think this is cool. It legitimately succeeds at what every speaker who ever used comic sans in a science talk was trying to do.

Spring in Maine, as told by my Garmin watch data:

- intensity minutes rise as I abandon the trainer to bike outside
- sleep/rest metrics magically rise
- stress score and resting heart rate magically fall
