In Star Wars Outlaws, players can find the Tooka Paw which claims to greatly reduce fall damage. However, jumping off the ledge where the charm is found kills the player, even with it equipped.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has a system where you can sacrifice weapons to strengthen a weapon type. If you want to strengthen multiple weapon types, you will be backing in and out of menus to select each one.

This design pictures simple navigation controls to quickly swap between weapon classes.

In Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, weapon types offer different variations, called "marks". Stats differ between marks, but comparison is difficult as mark selection and full stats appear on separate pages.

Game streaming platform Luna offers smartly designed card links which function differently based on carousel.

Games that appear under 'Continue Playing' launch immediately when clicked. Conversely, games under 'Trending Games' and 'Recently Added' open their associated game page.

'Time since your last saved' messages are a useful feature that some, but not all, games employ. For players looking to exit a game, it's a great reassurance when they see that their last auto save was X seconds ago and they can safely quit.

The card system in Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra has players select from a set of bonuses. Currently, you need to manually make these selections mid match or allow the game to auto-select them for you.

Here is a mockup of an implementation allowing players to pre-select their cards before a match.
