Fucking hell fuck everything about this
A lawyer for Christa Pike confirmed to the Banner that she had been administered both doses of pentobarbital and was still alive.

It appears the State of Tennessee has another botched lethal injection.

This was my experience living in Denver, that the light rail was only usable in specific instances. Comprising with car infrastructure, like only building along highways and refusing to build across the city, results in an example critics will use to “prove” why it doesn’t work
Denver has built out a lengthy rail network. Unfortunately, other than downtown, the system's stations fail to serve the neighborhoods with the highest concentrations of jobs and residents. That's because many of the rail lines are built along highways.

There are endless studies showing this and also the financial and societal benefits of universal basic income and or housing-first policies but the U.S. never goes for any of it because it would require allowing the poor to receive benefits that the rich consider “undeserved”
“A single-payer universal health care system could cover every American, save more than 100,000 lives a year, and still cost $1 trillion less than the system it would replace, according to a new preprint study led by researchers at the Yale School of Public Health.”
