I've been dreaming of making this announcement for so long that I'm still in disbelief that I get to post this. I’m beyond thrilled to share that my memoir CAMOUFLAGE: How I Emerged from the Shadows of a Military Marriage will be out in the world in fall 2025!

One year ago my prose poem "Impermanence" was published in Unbroken. I enjoy dabbling in poetry, and this was my second published poem. Hopefully more to come!

I've been sick for almost 3 weeks now. What started as a sinus infection morphed into an ear infection and then the viral upper respiratory crud that seems to be going around.
But I felt good when this photo was taken last week. Focusing on positive vibes!

I had a blast at the Books + Booze event at Dave & Buster's. I signed copies of CAMOUFLAGE, gave out bookmarks and red candy, and chatted with so many interesting people. The event was packed for 3 straight hours, with hundreds of book lovers coming out to support local authors and vendors. So fun!
