In a country that largely has leaned into unfettered imperialism and the dark ages when it comes to education, l'm finding myself at the easel more, in my books, and sitting with my thoughts.
Hoping a brighter, gentler, caring society lie ahead the future of my kids one day.

Took a week to collect reference photos from the Salish sea to the north cascades. Hiked the islands, drove the cascades, and played a hockey tournament all 4 weeks postpartum. Feeling physically exhausted, but my soul feels renewed.

Took a week to collect reference photos from the Salish sea to the north cascades. Hiked the islands, drove the cascades, and played a hockey tournament all 4 weeks postpartum. Feeling physically exhausted, but my soul feels renewed.

2 years ago we played an outdoor hockey tournament in Washington state where the temperature of our first game at 7 am was -21 F degrees.
It was something. My eyelashes froze. My toes were numb for an hour after that game. But, maybe most impressive the river froze, nearly entirely. (1/2)

My background before art was clinical laboratory science research in an HLA lab at Stanford, followed by 10+ years in biotech. Does anyone know if Canada is fast tracking personnel with medical lab experience in their expedited entry for medical personnel? Interested in learning more about this.
