Week 2 of trying to go a bit more analogue, and use a ring binder for my weekly planning.
I'm not 100% on the whole thing yet. I will keep trying though, a bit more time, a bit more discipline - hopefully it'll _click_ ? My handwriting is a hot mess too... that's not helping 😅

it's a new season for technology & for technologists, and our labor and its impact to the world are both more greater and more dangerous than ever.
how do we make sense of work in an industry many of us no longer recognize?

This is such a nice idea and 100% going to be one of the many slash pages I plan to add. Going to add it first thing tomorrow morning! Might even feature a small polaroid of it down in the footer of the site too, I had been meaning to add some more "stuff" down there.
I made a /photo slash page for my blog. One photo, swapped now and then. 📷️
If you make one too, let me know and I'll add you to the list.

I normally enjoy cracking open some faulty equipment, to try fix, or at least salvage something, not today!
Today I was going to save the pump from one of those coffee pod machines. After opening up one of the panels, 10+ cockroaches were scurrying about. A few even seemed to lunge towards me 🪳🤮

Obsidian 1.14.3 (early access) is now available.
- New Group menu in Bases lets you control columns in Kanban. Also works with tables, lists, cards.
- Added macOS Quick Look, so you can instantly preview Markdown files even when Obsidian is not open.
And lots more!

Trying the analogue way. A few errors in my template I printed a few test sheets of (since fixed). I'm hopeful! but let's see how it is by the end of the week 😅✏️

Hoopoe breakfast ☺️ I didn't plan to capture any video today, so I've only got super shaky footage as I wasn't using a tripod. I could have done with recording at a higher frame rate too, to create a better slow-mo... 😅

I know this is self inflicted and all, but damn, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to just have a nice time on social media.
Doesn't matter the platform, nor if I've touched grass or had time away. I'll open these tabs, scroll a bit, and come away feeling just a bit more shit each time

Making Kanelbullar (Cinnamon rolls 🇸🇪). Yeast not yeasting. 20+ different utensils used. Wrong sugar. Cinnamon everywhere.

Just wasted around two hours (slow ass internet) downloading a Linux distro for the wrong CPU architecture 🤦 Don't distro hop while tired I guess 😅

We're on the last season of The Expanse now (loving it!) and already with plenty of good stuff ready for when we're done with that. Ted Lasso S4, MobLand S2, Slow Horses S6, Reacher S4, Neagley S1 🤩
I know it wont happen but still hoping they'd come back with a Altered Carbon S3 🥺

Removing a broken screen from a laptop and trying to turn it into a Linux TV box will be a fun weekend project ☺️
I've previously fixed this laptop three times now, but it keeps coming back to me broken... Enough is enough, I'll salvage it, and we're getting the previous owner a cheaper device 😅

Well if @hejchristian.com’s going to reference my site’s “copy to clipboard” buttons in his work, I guess I should probably acknowledge them myself, huh? tylersticka.com/journal/that...

That Tear-Off Tab Copy Button Effect – Tyler Sticka
I added a “copy to clipboard” button to my site’s code blocks back in February. It works as you’d expect, except for one detail.
