Looks like I was wrong. There is no central algorithm here. It's just full of people posting memorials to dead cats.

The algorithm here is wild. When I first came here, it fed me cat pictures. Then dog pics for a few weeks. Then it just fed me political stuff for a couple weeks. Now my feed is mostly memorials for cats that just died.
