If I were in charge I would prioritize building a nationalized/gov owned cloud service to undercut these monsters, no matter how unrealistic and difficult. Soooo much of your money goes to these American tech giants. Sooo many Canadian businesses and jobs are dependent on them, too.

We moved the things off the deck so we can re-stain it and the dog was so excited about empty deck he started zooming around the whole yard.

There's something really demoralizing about going through a months long cycle of working on a feature, putting the feature to staging, having everyone above you fully ignore the staged feature until eventually it gets overwritten or needs to be updated again. What even is the point of employing me?

My dog is unconcerned with the roomba. I think because my sister and nephew lived with us for a while, and nephew always had trains and rc cars and whatnot running all over the house so he's just used to little robot guys rolling around.

My sister introduced me to a facebook reels account of a guy who goes around reviewing Chinese buffets in Indiana and it's pretty great.
