I finished making my first game, Egg Roll. It’s about rolling a newly hatched chick (who is stuck in his egg) back to his nest.

Watch the trailer here: youtu.be/K2qMGHbgV9w

Download it here for Android and PC: spacepig22.itch.io/egg-roll
It’s pay what you want (which basically means it’s free).

Next up, we have this great page art preview from Diana of a very spooky trio!

@heydianawillett.bsky.social

#StarWars #StarWarsZine #ZinePreview #Zine
A preview of part of a drawing sits in the middle of a frame styled to look like a gothic window on the outside of a building. The symbols for the Galactic Republic, the Rebellion, the Jedi, and the Empire sit along the top of the window frame, as though they were carved into the stone. Below them, the preview shows Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka sitting in line at a table carving pumpkins together. Anakin is dressed as a vampire, Obi-Wan as a skeleton, and Ahsoka as a clown. Text at the bottom of the window frame reads "Spooky Star Wars Zine", and a rectangular banner above that has Diana's profile picture on the left, a drawing of a person with brown hair, glasses, and a Buc-ee's t-shirt. To the right of the picture, text reads "Zine Preview: Diana" and lists the social media handle "heydianawillett" for Instagram, Bluesky, and Twitter and "dianawillett" for Tumblr.

New video on my channel.

Learn how to make prerendered SNES sprites by seeing how I made (and remade) Shigeru Miyamoto's DK design in the DKC style.

I tried to make it entertaining for people with no interest in following the tutorial, but informative for those who do.

Tomorrow I'm releasing a tutorial on how I made those DKC-style sprites. In other words... "ONE day."
A SNES-ified version of the Donkey Kong Country TV show meme where DK holds up one finger while sitting on a pier.

19 years ago today, Kappa Mikey premiered.

Did you know this show had an unmade episode?
Did you know an early design was accidentally left in a few shots?
Did you even know this show existed?

Learn everything you ever wanted to know about Kappa Mikey in my new video:
youtu.be/jCG6eBYt13g?...
The thumbnail for a YouTube video. The text reads, "Everything you ever wanted to know about Kappa Mikey and then some." The text gets smaller, but reads, "Like, WAY too much information." The text gets even smaller and reads, "To the point where you'll regret ever having clicked." The text becomes so small it's nearly illegible, but reads, "By the end of the video, a good chunk of your brain will be dedicated to Kappa Mikey trivia." To the left of the text characters from the show pop their heads into frame. At the top is Mikey, then Mitsuki, Lily, Gonard, and Guano. To the right of the text, there is a storyboard panel of the show, an early design of Mikey where he has a different mask and a red emblem on his chest instead of the usual blue, and finally there's a really early Mikey design where he's in a green costume instead of the usual blue.

You people have no idea what's in store in the video I'm about to release in 2 days. The sheer amount of useless trivia I have surrounding this obscure show is... concerning.
Between this image and yesterday's I'm sure you can guess the show.
See it on my channel in 2 days: youtube.com/spacepig22
There's chaotic clutter of seemingly disparate images. Fry from Futurama is surrounded by Pikachu, Sailor Moon, Rei Ayanami, and Goku. On the left border there's a 1950's styled company logo, Speed Racer, and a plush toy whose plush intestines are coming out of his mouth. On the right border, there's a robot, a plush rabbit, and a pirate-punk cartoon rabbit. Text in the center reads "New Video in 2 Days."

I've been working on this in my free time for quite a while, and I'm excited to announce that in three days I'll finally be releasing a new video to my YouTube channel, in which I will talk for WAY too long about a show I used to watch in high school.

These mock-ups reveal how the Pippi anime might have looked -- if it hadn't been canceled in the early '70s

Luckily we haven't had to evacuate yet and hopefully we won't have too but I'm devastated and heartbroken by everything I'm seeing with these fires.

Looking at my old tweets to see what I can bring over: I drew this Gravity Falls fanart YEARS ago (2016), inspired by Alex Hirsch's charity livestream "reveal" of the very canon Human Bill Cipher.

it's important for anyone, but especially artists to be very vocal, loud, and proud about their stances on human rights/politics. Our work reaches communities, what we create, share & show makes a difference. Art cannot be separated from humanity. Keep making things that showcase the world you want
