One thing I'd like but am 99% sure they won't include in TROP was if one of the other Dwarven houses was the direct cause of Celeborn's absence so he'd have an excuse other than *vague waving in the general direction of Doriath* to display his piece of shit behaviour towards them.

Mostly a combo of wet dreams and personal experience. Whin f ex is pretty much a self-insert of late-teenage me and Praktash's backstory and the way he acts when first introduced are allegories (yeah, f u Tolkien) of shit I went through and how I coped with that trauma before I knew better.

Yes! Whin calls Graz "hravanya" (lit. "my savage beast") as an ironic endearing term that in time becomes genuine. Hravan means "wild beast" or "savage" in Quenya and in Whin's community it is a derogatory euphemism for Orc b/c calling them by their true name might summon them.
