A working class hero is something to be. Joseph Trost is a concrete worker by day, but after work he's been pounding the pavement in House District 52, listening to his neighbors, looking for their vote in November. He's our next guest.

Jessica Bailey brought a votemobile to Porter County - one of only two counties in the state to have one. This is the kind of outside-the-box, pro-democracy thinking Indiana could use in the office of the state comptroller.

Early voting begins October 6.

Indiana Republicans have cut social spending, slashed business regulations, and privatized public services. These are hallmarks of libertarian economics. So why does Libertarian State House candidate Travis Gearhart disagree with their handling of the Hoosier economy?

Let's try this again! Our first interview with State Comptroller candidate Jessica Bailey got canceled by the Great NWI Derecho of 2026. Take two comes Tuesday at 7pm ET / 6pm CT. What does the comptroller do and why does it matter? Tune in to fine out.

Libertarians are famously critical of government, so when Scott welcomed Libertarian Indiana State House candidate Travis Gearhart to the pod he asked, "if you are skeptical of government, why are you trying to join the government?"

See what he had to say in this clip.

Over 100 years of propaganda by the ruling class has left socialism with a branding problem. But if you ask people about individual elements of the DSA platform, they're overwhelmingly popular. What "made America great" in the post-war era? A fair amount of socialism.

Charismatic Pentecostals in the rural south are famous for practicing the curious ritual of snake-handling.

In Christian nationalist America, snakes handle YOU.

Trump said last week that communities resisting data center development must like being "backwards and poor." Tell that to literally ANY town in Indiana where these things are proposed. Gov. Mike Braun might be "agnostic" about them, but Hoosiers say NOT IN MY BACK YARD!

Gary, IN went two full weeks without power after a severe storm. Completely unacceptable and NIPSCO should be ashamed. Gary Mayor Eddie Melton hasn't been forceful in demanding accountability. Is it because of all the campaign money NIPSCO has given him over the years?

Hoosiers have repeatedly voted for the people intentionally making our lives worse. It's like we have Stockholm Syndrome. We have a chance to escape from our abusers in 56 days. (Early voting begins in less than a month).

Let's dump the Republican supermajority.

Libertarians and progressives disagree on many things, but what they have in common is feeling marginalized by a broken two party system. We'll discuss this with State House candidate Travis Gearhart (L-HD4) on our next episode.

While roving gangs of masked men in unmarked cars CLAIMING to be federal agents kidnap our immigrant neighbors, where are the police? Protecting our communities? No - they're busy terrorizing Black communities. Policing needs to be entirely reimagined in this country.

On this Labor Day, let us see past the illusion of choice and commit to building a future with greater democracy in government AND the economy.

Solidarity is the foundation on which we build.

🚨🥩 "ORANGE BEEF"

300k metric tons of tariff-free foreign beef are entering the U.S. market. While touted as a discounted option, it’s raising food safety worries and alarms for American ranchers.

Here is how to make sure you are actually buying domestic meat: 👇
