Through our veterinary training initiative, professionals and students come to HRS to train with our expert medical team. So far this year, 39 veterinary professionals and students from across the U.S. and even Scotland have come on-site, including veterinarians from five Bay Area animal shelters.

Early last month, a local shelter reached out to us after a mother rabbit unexpectedly gave birth to a litter of 8 rabbits at their facility. They contacted us for help, and we were happy to be able to step in.

Can you foster a rabbit right now? We have had 6 local shelters reach out recently with transfer requests. We would love to help but we need a few extra hands to make it possible. We need 5 loving foster homes to make space for the incoming rabbits ASAP!
