Is your software a “product”? If not — and it harms you in some way — you may not be able to claim compensation. That needs to change, the government’s law reform advisers suggest. And product liability law might be extended to online marketplaces like Amazon.

Read Ruth's excellent thread that shows real expertise on Russian economic and political reality, and Russia's societal response, the myths it tells itself. Spoiler alert - no secret Western plan.
This is a poor take that suggests Owen Jones doesn't know much about Russia in the 1990s, including Russia-US or wider Russia-West relations in the 1990s. By giving only one part of the story, he is repeating the Russian political elite's self-serving line that it was all the West's fault. Long 🧵
The West helped create Vladimir Putin.

A senior Western diplomat warned in 1994 where capitalist 'shock therapy' would take Russia.

They ignored him - and ended his diplomatic career.

If you're concerned about migration rules being tightened in Ireland, I recommend writing to your local TDs.

Ireland is far from perfect but we do live in a country where you can email politicians' offices directly.

If you have something to say, why wait until they're on your doorstep?
