A step away from historicals for a palette cleanser and thought I'd make a start on the Tau Pathfinder Killteam I've had hanging around. Virtually all paints from the John Blanche Vol 1 in an attempt to limit myself and think creatively. Basing still to be done.

A step away from historicals for a palette cleanser and thought I'd make a start on the Tau Pathfinder Killteam I've had hanging around. Virtually all paints from the John Blanche Vol 1 in an attempt to limit myself and think creatively. Basing still to be done.

Right. Pretty much calling this done, though I might add a few more barrels. But. For now the Big Bunker Build has been done. It's the biggest single piece of scenery I've done and super happy with it. Am sure it cpuld be improved but for now, done.

Fruit picking throws up scrotal plum
Took inspiration from the checkpoint scene at the end of Band of Brothers for this Feldgendamerie/sentry. And the beauty of this kit is same torso, 3 very different outcomes - a tooled up General, a pointy Leutnant, and a bored sentry.

Wishing I'd written down the recipie somewhere for these Wargame Atlantic German Sentries I did a while back... now trying to colour match into the same ball park. Still, no uniform is the same colour etc. Left is the original, centre and right are the new efforts. Sigh.

Big Bunker Build update... groundwork pretty much all in place, sandbags arriving from Debris of War to add in some extra detail, and all the polyfilla texturing done on the bunker. Here's hoping it stays put....

Pondering this big bunker build. Superglue to the base, and drive some screws in as well from underneath. Then build up ground level with XPS and sculptamold, polyfilla the bunker, modgepodge the xps and then undercoat. Think I'll need a box for it on its own.
