River Heights: Crews made better than expected progress today. However, approximately 600 customers in the area will remain out of power overnight and into tomorrow.

Winnipeg - River Heights: Around 515 customers in this area will experience a 15 minute outage sometime between 5 to 5:30 p.m. today to allow crews to safely repair damage that will restore power to more customers. #mboutage

If your property was damaged during the storm, now is a good time to check your overhead service mast. If it's damaged, contact a licensed electrician immediately. They'll need to repair the service mast before we can safely restore power to your home.

River Heights: for the safety of our employees and the public, work on restoring this outage will wind down this evening to be resumed in the morning. Crews made good progress in securing the site, including cutting around and removing trees and broken infrastructure.
