Watching the amazing race and said to tv “there are like 4 guys I want to have sex with. What is going on with me?” I’m in no state to date. Worried I am in perimenopause, so looked at my period app. I start ovulating tomorrow. Is this a going out of business thing? (Probably just started ovulating)

One of my daughters used to say at 1 1/2 “es okay, es okay” and use a hand movement that looked like she was pushing something down. It was so funny. She was being calming. But, I never figured out where she got that accent or that hand gesture. It was an LA Hispanic accent. It was so cute.

Malcolm Gladwell also saying answer is “you gotta calm down” “we’re watching you” are two wildly divergent sentences. Especially coming from the police, who no one wants to interact with on a daily basis bc uniformed officers are scary (v pro police mind you). I’ve been stalked 4 times, not comfort.

Huge fan of Malcolm Gladwell, he actually expanded my thinking when younger. But, he only has an undergraduate in History (an arts degree) and only had to take 10 classes in history for that major. I had to take 6 classes in Political Science just for my minor. And, I went to a public TX undergrad

what Malcolm Gladwell (and I love him, huge tipping point fan, and others) is missing, and why did no one on his staff pitch. Is that yes the police are undermanned (pro police) but America is full of gamblers. You had to be kinda crazy to come here in the 1800s. Australia-penal. US, a little crazy.

Omg. Swing is coming back in Los Angeles!!! I learned in 1998. I was never very good at it bc it’s a three step, and all my dance lessons were 4 count/it’s actually 8 count. You can’t put your heel down. It used to make me so perturbed I couldn’t not put my heel down on the four.

I moved to my bio dad’s home when I was 16. He got me a gas card, I did a reality bites. And, also ordered a crapload of plum wine from the Chinese place. He just side eyed me and said “I know what you did” then laughed. Belly laugh. It was infuriating for some reason.

Every single girl (and boy) should be in dance, piano,voice. It’s all math. Even if they don’t sound great. Also, math, debate. Dinners where you just discuss stuff. Seriously, can I just have my kids back? They’re Irish/scottish/english/welsh. They’re going to have opinions.

Driving back from Seattle, we went foraging for mushrooms in Oregon, also stopped in Olympia. Anyway, we got mushrooms that definitely made us high, we stopped at a gas station so I could pee, and cashier looked alarmed. I was green. Or, it could’ve been the mushrooms. (There were 3, ex & roomie)
Oh wait. I think my roommate and I smoked weed through a toilet paper roll with a dryer sheet in it out our dorm window with the guys pretending to be selling magazines, a couple days before.

After I moved back to Texas, after it, I moved in with 4 guy friends. Their pot dealer and I quickly fell in love. First love. He was 8 months younger lol. And, from Delaware.
