Got the interior pockets set and the seams secured. The next step is folding the top edge and setting the interior straps for a clean finish. Leatherworking always brings a few challenges, but seeing the structure come together is so satisfying!

Quick progress update on this leather build! ✂️🧵 Pushing my Singer Heavy Duty to the limit on this heavy-weight leather. I had to do a bit of hand-stitching with a leather kit to bind the thick seams, but it’s looking solid and secure. Next step: finishing up the second panel!

Quick progress update on this leather build! ✂️🧵 Pushing my Singer Heavy Duty to the limit on this heavy-weight leather. I had to do a bit of hand-stitching with a leather kit to bind the thick seams, but it’s looking solid and secure. Next step: finishing up the second panel!
A quick update on the latest leather build! Leather leaves zero room for error since every stitch hole is permanent, but I finally got this section looking clean. Next step: attaching the inner fabric (and maybe some hand-stitching!). What high-stakes projects are you working on right now?
