Given that Bert is in his 90s what is the point of Susan insisting that he should have a healthy diet and do a lot of exercise? It’s hardly likely to greatly extend his life but will make him feel as though it’s longer #TheArchers

We had a cordyline which we nurtured from very small to very tall. It flowered once around 18yrs ago. Winter 2010/11 killed it off. Google said it would come back if left. Took app 10 years before we spotted it very small. Now it is strong enough to flower again. Still sickly sweet scent though

I hope the scriptwriters are not going to be giving the family their fabulous(!) inheritances anytime soon. Probate takes forever to go through. There must be a reason for this specific sum because no way the estate has been drawn together to see what’s left to bequeath to anyone yet

We arranged for a delivery of limestone chippings for back garden & asked son to help to move it. Still needed to get it into the right place & spread it out. Turned out to be hottest day this year - temps 30ºC+ in south facing garden. Am never good in heat spent much of the time avoiding fainting
