Some of my favorite nature photos I’ve ever taken, above the clouds on the recently-charred foothills outside of Vacaville, CA. On a clear day you can see Sacramento to the east and San Francisco to the west. The cloud basin almost made me want to dive in and swim to the sea.

Absolutely delicious looking bunch of oyster mushrooms I found camping a few years ago out by Clear Lake, CA. If they weren’t so far off the trail I’d have made myself a fantastic campsite meal. Gorgeous 🍄‍🟫!

Reminiscing on my days as a wildman. Hammock camping by the water somewhere in El Dorado National Forest. These are the days that made me love sleeping in a hammock. Spent my fair share of time panning for gold in them hills. I guess you could say I found gold in a way.
