Oregon’s biggest mistake was traveling so late to Stillwater. Should have followed the example of the 49ers and make that kind of trip early enough to adjust the body clock.

It’s a difficult job market for Gen X. We’re battling ageism in the hiring process, and now learning on the fly how to manipulate and get past A.I.-empowered screening tools — which isn’t at all applicable to our experience after decades of manipulating and getting past human recruiters.
