Here's the thing, I'm a bit of a "recipe pirate" when crafting. Once I learn the basics and understand the instructions for how things are supposed to be made, I can't resist adding my own twist onto things, regardless of whether I know how to do them or not 😅

Learning how to crochet and I made two birdies~ 🐥

Their names are Geoffery and Ganta, respectively. Despite being made second, Ganta is a bit wonkier because I was using him as a design guinea pig.
Nevertheless, I love them both dearly~

Typing "Sizhui" after Lan is so ingrained into me, I keep typing his name instead of Xichen's while trying to add the Lan sect leader into a scene in a fic 😅

All righty! I only have 3 major(ish) things left to finish and all my cosplays will be ready for Matsuricon this weekend~

I spent almost the entirety of last week making design adjustments to my Lan Sizhui cosplay and a new, super special cosplay. I've been practicing my hand sewing A LOT ✌️

Well, after one watch through and minimal cursing, I learned how to make wolves~ 🐺
In my typical fashion, I altered the pattern a little to better suit my vision of a wolf (and because I couldn't manage one of the steps, tbh), but I'm very happy with the result 💖

Cursing and grumbling while I look up instructions for an origami wolf after reading QJJ V8 this morning. Mentioning folded paper wolves just means I have to figure out how to make them now, but most of the instructions push the limits of video length I'm willing to watch. 😩😮‍💨
