I don't want to hear anything from Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool fans about "organic growth" or some such nonsense. All three owe their standing in football to huge injections of cash from wealthy patrons. To suggest otherwise is utter nonsense.

I'd suggest you've never seen Stoke City play if you're suggesting Arteta's 25/26 Arsenal played like Tony Pulis' Stoke. I'd also suggest you're just following a narrative that media put forward that is not at all based on facts or watching the matches. For a start, Stoke played a narrow 442.

my updated take is that the reason the EFL are probably being brutal in their treatment of southampton is probably because they'll have the approach of "this isn't the first time they've done this, it's probably just the first time they've been caught"

Maybe try not cheating, then you won't have a punishment to appeal against. If the EFL reverse their decision on Southampton it will be an absolute nonsense and cause absolute chaos. So the moral of the story is... try not cheating.
