My friend is trying to get back on her feet due to domestic violence situation and ongoing related, and trying to keeping her disabled parents safe and healthy. If there’s anything you can do to help, she gave me permission to share her Venmo. She needs interim cash, & transportation funds.

I dont think younger people realize just how massively popular and culturally significant the Lord of the Rings books were in the 1970s in the USA. Millenials experienced but a fraction of this when the Peter Jackson trilogy released.

VAXX your pets and domestic animals even if they’re indoor animals ! The only way they can “test” for rabies in animals is with brain tissue — done by euthanizing the animal, decapitating it, and sampling brain tissue.
If human and don’t immediately get prophylactic treatment after a bite!? RIP YOU
If human and don’t immediately get prophylactic treatment after a bite!? RIP YOU
May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies.
May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism.
This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs.
Vaccinate your pets please.

There. Is. No. Rabies. Test. That. Will. Leave. Your. Pet. ALIVE.
THEY TEST FOR RABIES BY EUTHANIZING THE ANIMAL AND DECAPITATING IT AND REMOVING THE BRAIN.
Which, coincidentally, is what I think should happen to the antivaxxer pet people lmao. But go off.

"My dog and family died from rabies because I was afraid of Dog Autism" is not a thing I expected to be worried about in the year 2026-27, but at this point, I guess it tracks.
Also hey RABIES IS A FATAL FUCKING NIGHTMARE get your animals vaccinated, jesus christ

First they came for the craftsmans, and I said nothing for I did not own one.
Then they came for the old farmhouses, white with black shutters, I said nothing because I had no farmouse.
Last they came for my little tyke car, and no one was left to speak for me.

if you watch it you tell WB to keep making more Potter stuff
and you show them that directly funding JKR’s transphobia, that she LITERALLY uses to strip trans women’s rights away, is not a dealbreaker
how could i ever feel safe around someone who buys her the boots she uses to step on my neck?

I genuinely am begging people not to watch the new HP show.
Like, also don't buy any branded stuff - she makes money off all that.
But especially don't watch the damn show.

I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. She separated aesthetics from character and understood "classiness" to be about how you treat people, not how you dress.

JKR has crossed the Trump event horizon past which one’s rapidly dwindling stan base gets increasingly manic, violent and unhinged, which SORT OF lets you pretend it’s a tidal wave of universal adulation, right up until the moment you see someone else actually get that and you can compare the two
