thinking about how i found a DVD of "Filthy McNasty" in a record store in Pittsburgh when i was visiting and didn't buy it. even though i have been trying to offload a lot of random crap i have, i still regret not buying it. very unusual to find a physical copy of something like that for me

i've been playing "Shining Force II" the past few days and i absolutely love it! it's rare for me to immediately fall in love with a game very quickly these days but i am absolutely obsessed with this game, i genuinely can't stop playing it and i'm very heartened knowing there's a Shining Force III

no you see, when i say something is "Cloves" it's a Simpsons reference. from the "$pringfield" episode when homer makes breakfast and puts cloves in. it means that a situation that is notably austere or lacking in resources, similar to "ice soup". It also means "Clothes" because they sound similar!🙂‍↕️

this whole "going outside and talking to people" thing is curious. they may not know about your favourite Sega Saturn games, but they do say things like "your outfit is nice" and "i love your skirt". we must conduct further anthropological analysis soon (aka going out dressed like a girl more)

i just beat majora's mask again and i can't stop thinking about it. it's already one of my favourite games and somehow playing it again, i appreciate it even more. i wrote out many thoughts as a thread but i accidentally closed my browser and it's gone :( so in summary, it's absolutely amazing

one of the cool things if you watch the simpsons with me is that sometimes i'm like "you know the line thickness and saturation changes are really noticable in season 10" and sometimes i'm like "maggie is the baby one :DDDD". i find so much joy and wonder in the show
