April 1, 1946 an earthquake in Alaska triggered a tsunami that destroyed the Scotch Cap Lighthouse. A wave estimated at over 120 feet high consumed the lighthouse and killed the crew of 5 on duty. This tragedy led to the formation of the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

March 27, 1892 Robert Robinson Taylor graduated from MIT as the first black man to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture. Taylor would go on to design several buildings at Tuskegee Institute and was also an influential member of the faculty.

This is mid-century dream was built in 1956 for auto dealer Earl Hayes and his wife Alline. The home has 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, living spaces, pool and lake.

Water has been leaking into this electrical panel for quite awhile!!!! 💧
The sellers seem to think that caulking the top of the panel will fix the issues but this panel needs to be REPLACED!! The estimate for the replacement from the electrician was $3,000!! 💸 #home #homeinspection #realestate

One of the reasons that so many people are losing money on homes in Texas is because of terrible home inspectors. A LOT of inspectors worry they will lose business from real estate agents who refer them if they perform a detailed inspection that finds all the deficiencies in the home. 💸🏠 #realestate
